The ‘Bee Bomber’ pattern is finally released. It is an oversized cardigan in the style of a bomber jacket. It has the bubble stitch detail around the bottom section that always reminded me of honeycomb bubbles, hence why the name Bee was given to its description. The upper half is formed using garter stitch to create contrast, which flows down to those ‘va va voom’ GoldFreckles signature sleeves. Pattern now includes the button up fastening version. I absolutely love her & she is one of my most favourite designs, I’m so happy to finally release her in pattern form to the world.

I am myself a self-taught knitter and I have created all my patterns with that in mind, adding extra descriptions and imagery to help guide you through the process. How long will it take to knit : 10-12 hours but if you have knitted before then it could be faster.

Sizing : Pattern ia available to make in four sizes from XS/S, S/M, M/L and L/XL. Starting from a UK size 8-22. Remembering this is designed to be oversized.

Skill Level : This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques you will need to know are cast on, knit, purl, deceasing stitches & making a stitch/loop with a crochet hook (There is a step by step guide & imagery to follow for completing this step & also a video on my Instagram page). This updated pattern now includes the button up version, so depending on your skill set you can now chose between the two options. For the button up fastening version you will also need to know decreasing, picking up stitches & how to make button holes.
